Morning Camp is a fun, structured childcare option designed for families who need morning coverage or for kids who love staying active. Each day includes group games, arts & crafts, cooking projects, special presentations, and weekly field trips. Summer Camp programs serve ages 6-18.
*Field trip attendance is based on age, behavior, and space availability and is subject to staff discretion. Additional field trip fees may apply.
Morning Camp (7:45 AM-12 PM) is $15 per child per day; discounts and scholarships are available | Pay for the full summer and receive 10% off. Juneteenth is free.
If your child does not have a current membership, we encourage all families to complete a Membership Application and pay the membership fee, which provides childcare for the rest of the year.
Afternoon Camp (After 12 PM), both Clubhouses and Teen Centers are completely FREE for all members.
Morning Camp provides reliable childcare, while afternoons offer free, high‑quality youth programming; giving families flexibility and peace of mind all summer long.
Afternoon programs are enriching, well‑supervised, and filled with activities, learning opportunities, and structured program schedules (as seen below).

Weekly Themes
Week 1: Where the Wild Things Come From- Explore how the landscapes and ecosystems around the Peninsula were shaped over time—from glaciers and Indigenous peoples, through stories, hands-on activities, and exploration.
Week 2: Garden Friends- Tiny helpers make gardens grow! Explore the world of pollinators and beneficial creatures—like bees, butterflies, beetles, and worms—that keep plants healthy and thriving. Through hands-on activities, campers learn about pollinating flowers, enriching soil, and the food we eat.
Week 3: The Secret Life of Bugs- Get up close with the tiny animals that keep our ecosystems thriving! Campers will explore the fascinating world of insects and spiders. Through hands-on exploration, games, and simple science activities, they’ll learn how these “creepy crawlies” live, move, and play important roles in nature.
Week 4: Creatures of the Night- Explore the fascinating world of nocturnal plants and animals found after the sun goes down. From owls and bats to night-blooming plants, they’ll discover how these species adapt to darkness through special senses, behaviors, and survival strategies—all through games, stories, and hands-on exploration.
Week 5: Farm to Table- Explore the journey from soil to plate by visiting local farms. Through hands-on experiences, they’ll learn how fruits, vegetables, and other foods are grown, harvested, and prepared—and meet the farmers and animals that help feed us.
Week 6: Forest Friends- Campers will learn about the wildlife that calls our forests home while discovering how animals grow and change through their life cycles. Through games, crafts, and outdoor exploration, they’ll uncover how forest creatures survive, find food, and raise their young.
Week 7: Survival of the Wild- Build basic wilderness skills inspired by the forests and landscapes around us. Through hands-on activities, they’ll practice shelter building, navigation, teamwork, and outdoor safety—discovering how both people and animals adapt to survive.
Week 8: Wild About Art- Campers will use natural materials found to create unique works of art. From leaf prints to sculptures made of sticks and stones, explore creativity while building a deeper connection to the natural world.
Week 9: From Rivers to the Seas- Explore how waterways connect landscapes to the rich marine life of the Strait. Through hands-on activities, they’ll learn about salmon journeys, ocean habitats, and the incredible creatures living beneath the surface—from tidepool critters to larger sea life.
Week 10: Wild Weather Watchers- Explore the ever-changing weather patterns in the skies, from rain and wind, to clouds and sunshine. Build rain gauges, wind socks, and kites, and learn to identify different types of clouds. Campers discover how weather works and how it shapes the world.
Week 11: Flower Power- Explore the plant life cycle- from seed to sprout, to full bloom- using the natural beauty of the Peninsula as their classroom. Campers learn how flowers grow, attract pollinators, and help support the ecosystems around us.

Weekly Themes
Week 1: The Wild Things Within Us- We’ll explore how we grow from the inside out! Kids will measure, move, and explore how they grow, how plants grow, and more.
Week 2: Grow From Below- Campers will discover the magic of soil, compost, and what plants need to grow strong roots.
Week 3: Fresh From the Garden- Kids will explore fruits and vegetables through taste tests, garden-inspired art, and fun activities that connect healthy foods to everyday life.
Week 4: Scents & Sprouts- Campers will explore herbs and their scents as well as, lavender, and fragrant plants.
Week 5: Garden Friends- Meet the helpers! Kids will learn about insects, pollinators, and animals that help gardens grow through games, creative projects, and interactive exploration.
Week 6: Farm to Table- Campers will discover how food gets from farms to our plates.
Week 7: Nature’s Canvas- Kids will use natural materials to create unique art pieces while exploring creativity, texture, and the beauty of the outdoors.
Week 8: Discovery Garden- What makes a garden grow? Campers will explore weather, sunlight, and water and the impact the weather has on plants.
Week 9: Grow Your Own Adventure- Let imagination take root! Kids will design and build their own fairy or mini gardens while exploring creativity, storytelling, and hands-on building.
Week 10: Growing Into Leaders- Celebrate how far we’ve come! Campers will reflect on their growth while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills through games, challenges, and group activities.
