Turner Unit Director, Program & Behavior Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized, positive, and community-minded individual to fulfill the roles of the Unit Director at the Turner Unit and as a Program/Behavior Support Specialist in Sequim

The Porgram and Behavior Support Specialist  responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising high-quality youth development programsat the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula at the Carroll C Kendall Club.  The Turner Unit  Director is responsible for the daily operations of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula Club on Lauridsen Boulevard.

Both positions include oversight of the USDA food service program administered by BGCOP. The primary focus of this role is to deliver comprehensive, outcome-driven programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character in a safe, engaging environment. leadership staff supervises, trains, and supports Club staff and volunteers; addresses member and/or personnel matters; manages overall site operations; and fosters strong, collaborative relationships with school partners and families.

Youth Development Professional(s)

We are seeking youth development professionals who are responsible for providing daily programs, services and activities for Club members that are consistent with the organization’s youth development mission and goals.

Youth development professionals are primarily, but not exclusively, responsible for supervising a specific, single department in one of the core program areas. One of the greatest challenges for the youth development professional is to develop positive, productive relationships with members.
