Two $1,500 Scholarships Available
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula is pleased to offer the “Maytag Dependable Leader Scholarship.” High school seniors on the peninsula who will continue their education in a two or four year institution are eligible for a one-time $1,500 award.
An eligible applicant is:
• graduating senior form Port Angeles or Sequim
• a Boys & Girls Club member or alumni with Club experience
• Maintaining a GPA of 2.0
• from a low-income family or demonstrate financial need
Eligible candidates interested in applying must complete and sign an application form
which includes a one page (or less) personal statement and brief answers to Club, school and community involvement. All applications must be received by May 2, 2016 deadline. The Clubs will request scholarship notebooks if available.
